A basic freelancing training seminar was held at B. L. College (Brajalal College), Daulatpur, Khulna, organized under the supervision of the Khulna Divisional Commissioner’s Office. The program aimed to create awareness among teachers and students about the growing opportunities in the freelancing sector and how digital skills can shape a sustainable career in today’s technology-driven world.
The event was conducted with Munshi Jahangir Zinnat (Hirok), Founder & CEO of Unique Soft BD, as the Chief Trainer.
Chief Guest’s Remarks
The seminar was inaugurated by Khulna Divisional Commissioner Mohammad Abdus Samad, who attended as the Chief Guest. In his inspiring speech, he highlighted freelancing as a significant opportunity to reduce unemployment and open new doors for earning through online platforms.
He said that freelancing can play a vital role in earning foreign currency and thereby strengthening Bangladesh’s economy. He also encouraged students and educators to embrace freelancing, emphasizing that it allows individuals to use their talents and intelligence in meaningful and productive ways.
Special Guests and Audience
The program was also attended by Additional Divisional Commissioner Mohammad Faruque Hossain and Khulna District Commissioner Mohammad Mostofa Kamal, who praised the initiative for introducing freelancing to the educational community. Teachers, students, and government officials from the Khulna region participated enthusiastically in the session.
About the Training Initiative
This seminar at B. L. College was part of a series of six freelancing seminars organized by the Divisional Commissioner’s Office. Three were held at the Divisional Commissioner’s office itself, while the remaining three took place at B. L. College, Khulna Government Girls College, and Khulna Public College.
During the session, Munshi Jahangir Zinnat (Hirok) shared practical insights on how to begin freelancing, how to build a profile on international marketplaces, and the importance of consistent learning and professionalism.
Earlier Collaboration with Unique Soft BD
The relationship between Khulna Divisional Commissioner Mohammad Abdus Samad and Munshi Jahangir Zinnat (Hirok) began in February 2015, when the Divisional Commissioner visited Unique Soft BD’s head office at Amjhupi Bazar, Meherpur, during an administrative tour. Deeply impressed by the initiative to provide free freelancing training to unemployed youth, he later collaborated with Unique Soft BD to arrange these regional workshops.
Empowering Youth Through Freelancing
Munshi Jahangir Zinnat (Hirok), a successful freelancer working across various international platforms, has trained thousands of learners through Unique Soft BD, many of whom are now earning independently from home.
He continues to provide free training programs both locally and globally — through in-person workshops, Skype sessions, and phone mentoring — to help people gain digital independence and contribute to Bangladesh’s digital transformation.
