Our Founder & CEO and General Manager attended on a Live Program on Independent Television
Independent Television, one of Bangladesh’s most popular 24-hour news channels, invited Munshi Jahangir Zinnat (Founder & CEO of Unique Soft) and Ashraful Alam (General Manager of Unique Soft) to appear as guests on a live program titled “Khatunganj Theke Motijheel” — a show dedicated to entrepreneurship and inspiring success stories across Bangladesh.
The live episode aired on May 30, 2013, from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM, and was rebroadcast later that night from 1:30 AM to 2:00 AM.
About the Program
The special episode focused on entrepreneurship through freelancing — exploring how digital skills can empower individuals to build successful, independent careers. During the session, the hosts interviewed our Founder & CEO and General Manager about:
-
Their personal success journeys in freelancing.
-
How to start working on global freelance marketplaces.
-
The services and training programs offered by Unique Soft.
-
The broader potential of freelancing to reduce unemployment and build a self-reliant workforce in Bangladesh.
The presenters and panelists praised Unique Soft’s initiatives, recognizing its contribution to developing skilled freelancers across rural areas.
Background and Impact
Earlier, on April 27, 2013, Independent Television published a news report highlighting Unique Soft’s success stories and community impact. That story generated significant national attention, and many viewers reached out to the network expressing curiosity about freelancing opportunities. In response to this overwhelming interest, the channel organized this live follow-up session with our leadership.
During the broadcast, our Founder & CEO shared Unique Soft’s contact details, leading to an unprecedented response — with over 4,000 phone calls from across the country. Many of these callers sought free freelancing training and guidance.
To meet the growing demand, Unique Soft expanded its outreach, providing:
-
Free training materials and Bangla tutorials,
-
Online mentorship through Facebook groups, and
-
One-on-one guidance via phone support.
As a result of these initiatives, over 1,400 trainees have since received free freelancing education, and more than 550 individuals from across Bangladesh have successfully started earning from online marketplaces.
Acknowledgment
Independent Television expressed appreciation for Unique Soft’s social commitment and its impactful contribution to reducing unemployment through digital skills training. The program concluded with a message of encouragement for the organization to continue its mission of empowering people through freelancing.
