Basic Freelancing Training for Khulna Government Employees

The Khulna Divisional Commissioner’s Office recently organized a Basic Freelancing Training Program for government employees, where Munshi Jahangir Zinnat, Founder & CEO of Unique Soft, served as the Chief Trainer.
Opening Ceremony and Remarks by the Chief Guest
The training session was inaugurated by Mohammad Abdus Samad, Divisional Commissioner of Khulna, who attended the event as the Chief Guest.
In his opening speech, Mr. Abdus Samad said:
“Freelancing can be a great opportunity to reduce unemployment and open new ways for earning money. It also offers an excellent chance to earn foreign currency and will contribute significantly to strengthening our national economy.”
He further encouraged participants to take freelancing seriously as a sector where they can properly utilize their talents, creativity, and intelligence.
The seminar was also attended by Additional Divisional Commissioner Mohammad Faruque Hossain and Khulna District Commissioner Mohammad Mostofa Kamal, along with several senior officials from both the divisional and district administrations.
Training Session Overview
During the session, Munshi Jahangir Zinnat (Hirok) — a successful freelancer and founder of Unique Soft — delivered an engaging presentation covering the basics of freelancing, the potential of online marketplaces, and how digital skills can transform careers.
Government officials from across the Khulna Division attended the training and participated actively in the discussions.
Under the initiative of the Divisional Commissioner, a total of six separate seminars on freelancing were arranged:

Three seminars held at the Divisional Commissioner’s Office,

One seminar at BL College,

One seminar at Khulna Government Girls College, and
-
One seminar at Khulna Public College.
Each seminar focused on developing awareness about online work opportunities and building basic digital skills among government officials.
Collaboration Background
The collaboration between Khulna Divisional Commissioner Mohammad Abdus Samad and Unique Soft began earlier during a visit to Meherpur in February 2015. During that administrative tour, Mr. Abdus Samad paid an unofficial visit to Unique Soft’s office at Amjhupi Bazar, Meherpur, where he first met Munshi Jahangir Zinnat (Hirok) and discussed possible initiatives to promote freelancing in the region.

Munshi Jahangir Zinnat (Hirok) is a renowned freelancer, entrepreneur, and social educator who has been working on international freelancing marketplaces since 2009. After achieving remarkable success in his own career, he founded Unique Soft to offer free freelancing training to unemployed youth across Bangladesh.
