    News Published on Sundarban Samachar

The Khulna Divisional Commissioner’s Office recently organized a Basic Freelancing Training Program for government employees, where Munshi Jahangir Zinnat, Founder & CEO of Unique Soft, served as the Chief Trainer.

Opening Ceremony and Address by the Chief Guest

The training program was inaugurated by Mohammad Abdus Samad, Divisional Commissioner of Khulna, who attended the event as the Chief Guest.

In his inaugural speech, Mr. Abdus Samad stated:

“Freelancing can be a great opportunity to reduce unemployment and create new avenues for income generation. It can also play an important role in earning foreign currency and boosting our national economy.”

He further encouraged the attendees to explore freelancing as a promising sector where they can fully utilize their skills, creativity, and intelligence.

The event was also attended by Additional Divisional Commissioner Mohammad Faruque Hossain and Khulna District Commissioner Mohammad Mostofa Kamal, along with several senior officers from divisional and district administrations.

    Training Overview

During the session, Munshi Jahangir Zinnat (Hirok) — a successful freelancer and the founder of Unique Soft — conducted a detailed presentation on basic freelancing concepts, online marketplace operations, and how government officials can engage in productive digital work.

Officers from different departments of the Khulna Division took part in the training and expressed great interest in freelancing as an emerging professional opportunity.

As part of the initiative, the Divisional Commissioner arranged a total of six separate seminars across Khulna:

    • Three seminars at the Divisional Commissioner’s Office,

    • One seminar at BL College,

    • One seminar at Khulna Government Girls College, and

    • One seminar at Khulna Public College.

Each seminar focused on introducing digital work opportunities, guiding participants about freelancing platforms, and encouraging them to use their skills to earn from global markets.

    Background of Collaboration

The professional collaboration between Khulna Divisional Commissioner Mohammad Abdus Samad and Unique Soft began earlier during an administrative visit to Meherpur in February 2015. During that tour, Mr. Abdus Samad visited the Unique Soft Office at Amjhupi Bazar, Meherpur, and met with Munshi Jahangir Zinnat (Hirok). Their meeting laid the foundation for future cooperation in promoting freelancing and digital employment within the Khulna Division.
