Orientation Program Held for the Launch of Mayor Motu’s Personal Website — MayorMotu.com

An orientation program marking the launch of Mayor Motu’s personal website, MayorMotu.com, was held on December 16, 2014, at the Kalachand Memorial Hall of Meherpur Municipality. The website was officially inaugurated by Motasim Billah Motu, Honorable Mayor of Meherpur Municipality.

The website aims to provide citizens with easy access to information about the mayor’s initiatives, municipal development activities, and future plans. Visitors will also find details about the mayor’s biography, vision, and efforts to modernize the city.

Partnership with Unique Soft for Freelancing Development

In an inspiring announcement during the event, Mayor Motasim Billah Motu revealed a new initiative to promote outsourcing and freelancing in Meherpur. With the support of Meherpur Municipality and under the full supervision of Unique Soft, led by Munshi Jahangir Zinnat (Hirok), free freelancing training programs will be launched from the following month.

This program is designed to encourage local youth to engage in the global digital marketplace and gain self-employment opportunities through online freelancing platforms.

Event Highlights

Among others, Soyeb Rahman and Yazdani Ullash, web developers of Unique Soft, spoke at the event. They discussed how MayorMotu.com will help bridge the gap between citizens and municipal services by promoting digital transparency and accessibility.

Mayor’s Speech and Vision

As the chief guest, Mayor Motasim Billah Motu expressed his gratitude to everyone involved in the project and shared his vision for the future development of Meherpur. He announced plans to construct a new landmark, the “71 Tower,” to enhance the city’s beauty and commemorate the spirit of 1971.

He also called upon citizens to work collectively to make Meherpur a model municipality — free from drugs, enriched with culture, and progressive in technology and education.
