Success Story of Mahfuz Mohammad Yazdani Ullas – From Struggle to Stability Through Unique Soft BD
The journey of Mahfuz Mohammad Yazdani Ullas is an inspiring example of how determination, guidance, and hard work can transform a person’s life. His story, originally published in “Outsourcing – How to Become Successful” by Aminur Rahman, reflects not only his perseverance but also the life-changing role that Munshi Jahangir Zinnat (Founder & CEO, Unique Soft BD) and Unique Soft BD played in his success.
A Fall from Fortune
Like many young dreamers, Mahfuz once led a prosperous life as an investor in the share market. During his best days, he could afford luxuries without thinking twice — spending thousands of dollars without concern.
But when the market collapsed, his world changed overnight. The financial losses were devastating. He found himself with almost no savings, surviving on borrowed money, and trying to rebuild his life through a small furniture business — “Ullas Furniture.”
The business, however, didn’t flourish. His income barely supported his family, and life turned into a daily struggle. “There was a time,” he recalled, “when I didn’t hesitate to waste a thousand dollars, but later, I had to think ten times before buying a 20-cent chocolate for my child.”
A Friend’s Wake-Up Call
One day, while chatting with his friends Mahbub and Sumon at his furniture shop, Mahbub spoke bluntly:
“You couldn’t even buy a chocolate for your baby today — how will you fulfill her dreams tomorrow? You keep saying you’ll learn freelancing, but when will you start?”
Those words struck Mahfuz deeply. That day became the turning point in his life. With his wife’s support and encouragement from friends Mahbub, Sumon, and Tanim, he decided to prove himself — to start over and build something meaningful through freelancing.
First Step into the Freelancing World
Mahfuz always loved computers and technology but had never thought they could change his life. Through Facebook, he discovered that Aminur Rahman Sir was offering an online outsourcing course. Determined to begin, Mahfuz joined the class.
The start wasn’t easy. “I couldn’t understand the first class,” he said. “Even the second one felt impossible.” But he refused to give up.
He began studying and practicing 16 to 18 hours a day, watching tutorials, researching on Google, and constantly seeking improvement.
Though frustrated at first when his mentor told him to “search on Google,” he soon realized the real value of self-learning. “Everything I needed was there,” he said. “I just had to look for it.”
By the end of the three-month course, he realized how little he knew — and how much more there was to learn.
Meeting the Mentor – Munshi Jahangir Zinnat
Around that time, his friend Sumon told him about Munshi Jahangir Zinnat, a successful freelancer from Meherpur who offered free training at Unique Soft BD.
Mahfuz contacted Munshi and was warmly welcomed. When he visited Amjhupi, Meherpur, Unique Soft BD had just organized a freelancers’ cricket match, and the large number of active freelancers astonished him. “I realized I was just a beginner among them,” he said. “I had to learn more — and I knew I had found the right place.”
After completing some personal tasks in Dhaka, Mahfuz returned to Amjhupi. Munshi Jahangir Zinnat arranged his accommodation at his own home and even provided free meals — a gesture of generosity that Mahfuz will never forget.
He stayed at Unique Soft BD for nine months, learning advanced freelancing skills and gaining practical experience.
“Munshi always shared his real client experiences,” Mahfuz explained. “That helped me understand not just the technical work but how to think, communicate, and manage clients like a professional.”
The Transformation
The combination of lessons from Aminur Rahman Sir and Munshi Jahangir Zinnat changed Mahfuz’s life completely.
Today, he is a successful freelancer, earning well and supporting his family with pride. His financial struggles are over, and he now dreams of establishing his own IT company to help others — just as he once received help when he needed it most.
“I’m grateful to Aminur Rahman Sir, Munshi Jahangir Zinnat, and Unique Soft BD,” Mahfuz says.
“They didn’t just teach me freelancing — they gave me a new life.”
