Unique Soft’s Meetup, Picnic & Strategic Internal Meeting — September 2015
In September 2015, Unique Soft held another important Meetup and Picnic, combining team bonding with a high-level internal meeting to finalize major organizational decisions. The gathering followed up on discussions from the July 2015 meeting, where Founder & CEO Munshi Jahangir Zinnat (Hirok) had first shared his vision of transforming the organization into a more structured and professional network of institutions.
Vision for Structural Expansion
At this meeting, Founder & CEO Munshi Jahangir Zinnat officially announced the formation of several new organizations to diversify and strengthen Unique Soft’s initiatives.
The goal was to separate operations into specialized sectors — allowing each branch to operate with a clear focus while maintaining a shared mission of education, employment, and innovation.
The key announcements were:
-
Alternative School – to become a dedicated training institute, continuing Unique Soft’s tradition of free ICT and freelancing education, but with a more modern, structured approach and progressive learning philosophy.
-
OBOYOB – a new IT firm focusing on web development, digital marketing, system administration, and graphic design, built around the talents developed within Unique Soft.
-
Meherpur Quick Bazar – an eCommerce platform designed to promote local products and create digital business opportunities.
-
Durlov Hosting – a web hosting company established to provide reliable infrastructure and technical support to OBOYOB and its clients.
Transition Strategy for the Future
The Founder & CEO further clarified that Unique Soft would continue to exist as a non-profit social organization, but its operational activities would be temporarily paused for a few years.
This decision was taken to focus on building the newly founded organizations, ensuring they become financially sustainable and capable of supporting a larger mission of social development.
Once these ventures become stable and successful, Unique Soft would be relaunched as a complete NGO, fully devoted to its social and educational goals — but on a much larger scale and with stronger financial independence.
“We have already proven that freelancing can change lives. Now it’s time to create a complete ecosystem — where training, employment, business, and infrastructure work together,”
said Munshi Jahangir Zinnat, during the session.
Team Collaboration and Goal Setting
All members present agreed unanimously with the proposed plan. The meeting concluded with task distribution, goal setting, and an implementation roadmap for each upcoming project.
The event reflected Unique Soft’s growth from a single freelancing hub into a visionary network of institutions — all working toward the same mission: to empower people through knowledge, technology, and innovation.
