    Digital Innovation Fair Concludes Successfully in Meherpur

    The three-day-long Digital Innovation Fair came to a successful conclusion today in Meherpur, marking another milestone in the district’s growing emphasis on technology and digital development.

    The closing ceremony took place at Meherpur Government Girls’ High School, with Mazedur Rahman Khan, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), presiding over the event.

    Guests and Dignitaries

    The session was graced by Mahmud Hossain, Deputy Commissioner of Meherpur, as the Chief Guest.
    Among the Special Guests were:

    • Motasim Billah Motu, Mayor of Meherpur Pourosova

    • Azbahar Ali Sheikh, Additional Superintendent of Police

    • Alhaj Ashkar Ali

    • Abdus Samad Bablu Biswas, Vice President, Meherpur District Awami League

    • Shamimara Hira, President, District Women Awami League

    Their collective presence reflected the district’s unified effort to encourage innovation, entrepreneurship, and technological progress at the local level.

    Honoring Innovation and Achievement

    As part of the closing ceremony, Government and Non-Government offices were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the field of information technology within Meherpur district.

    Two prominent individuals — Munshi Jahangir Zinnat (Hirok), Founder & CEO of Unique Soft, and Shamsus Zoha — were honored as the Best Innovators in Information Technology for their exceptional work and innovative initiatives.

    Stall Exhibition and Awards

    Throughout the fair, several stalls were set up showcasing digital tools, software solutions, and creative IT innovations.
    Among them, Unique Soft was adjudged the Best Stall of the event, followed by the District Primary Education Office in second place and Meherpur College of Engineering and Technology in third.

    All three institutions received official awards in recognition of their excellence and contribution to technological advancement.

    Cultural Segment and Closing Celebration

    Before the formal session, a vibrant cultural program added color to the event. Young local artist Tanim Mahmud captivated the audience with his musical performance, highlighting Meherpur’s rich cultural spirit alongside its technological progress.

    Leaders of the Bangladesh Chhatra League, including Turjo Biswas (Student League Leader), Ferdous Shovon (Town Student League General Secretary), and Abdus Salam Badhon (Student League Leader), congratulated the award winners and encouraged continued innovation and community participation in digital initiatives.

    The Digital Innovation Fair not only celebrated local achievements in ICT but also demonstrated Meherpur’s commitment to embracing the “Digital Bangladesh” vision. The event successfully inspired students, entrepreneurs, and government officials to collaborate toward a future powered by creativity, innovation, and digital transformation.
