Basic Freelancing Training for Khulna Government Employees

Recently, the Khulna Divisional Commissioner’s Office organized a Basic Freelancing Training Program for Government Employees, where Munshi Jahangir Zinnat, Founder & CEO of Unique Soft, served as the Chief Trainer.
Inauguration and Remarks by the Chief Guest
The inaugural ceremony was presided over by Mohammad Abdus Samad, Divisional Commissioner of Khulna, who attended as the Chief Guest. In his opening speech, he said:
“Freelancing can be a great opportunity to reduce unemployment and open new avenues for income generation. It can also help earn valuable foreign currency, thereby strengthening our national economy.”
He further encouraged participants to embrace freelancing as a platform where they could properly utilize their talents, skills, and intelligence to achieve financial independence and contribute to the nation’s growth.
The event was also attended by Additional Divisional Commissioner Mohammad Faruque Hossain and Khulna District Commissioner Mohammad Mostofa Kamal, along with several high-ranking government officials from various districts within the Khulna Division.
Training Highlights
During the seminar, Munshi Jahangir Zinnat (Hirok) — a successful freelancer and Founder & Founder & CEO of Unique Soft — delivered an insightful presentation on basic freelancing concepts, online marketplace opportunities, and practical guidelines for beginners.
Government officials from different departments of Khulna Division participated actively, showing great enthusiasm for learning how freelancing can complement their professional and personal growth.
The Divisional Commissioner’s office arranged six separate seminars under this initiative:

Three seminars were held at the Commissioner’s Office,

One at BL College,

One at Khulna Government Girls College, and
-
One at Khulna Public College.
Each seminar focused on the basics of freelancing, digital platforms, and earning opportunities through online work.
Background and Collaboration
The collaboration between the Khulna Divisional Commissioner and Unique Soft began earlier, during the Commissioner’s visit to Meherpur in February 2015 as part of an administrative tour. During that visit, Mr. Mohammad Abdus Samad paid an unofficial visit to Unique Soft’s main office at Amjhupi Bazar, Meherpur, where he met with Munshi Jahangir Zinnat (Hirok) and discussed potential collaborations for promoting freelancing and digital employment.
About the Chief Trainer
Munshi Jahangir Zinnat (Hirok) is a renowned freelancer and digital entrepreneur, working on various international freelance marketplaces since 2009. After achieving personal success, he dedicated himself to providing free freelancing training through Unique Soft, an organization he founded to fight unemployment and empower youth through digital skills.
Till date, thousands of students have received training from him — many of whom are now working successfully across global marketplaces. His mentorship extends beyond Meherpur; he provides training and guidance nationwide and internationally through online platforms such as Skype and phone sessions.
