Basic Freelancing Training for Khulna Government Employees

The Khulna Divisional Commissioner’s Office recently organized a Basic Freelancing Training Program for government employees, where Munshi Jahangir Zinnat, Founder & CEO of Unique Soft, served as the Chief Trainer.
Opening Ceremony and Keynote Speech
The event was inaugurated by Mohammad Abdus Samad, Divisional Commissioner of Khulna, who attended as the Chief Guest.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Abdus Samad said:
“Freelancing can be a great opportunity to reduce unemployment and open new ways of earning. It is also an excellent source of foreign currency and can play a vital role in strengthening our national economy.”
He further encouraged the participants to engage in freelancing, emphasizing that this field allows people to fully utilize their talent, creativity, and intelligence for productive and meaningful work.
The program was also attended by Additional Divisional Commissioner Mohammad Faruque Hossain and Khulna District Commissioner Mohammad Mostofa Kamal, along with several senior officials from divisional and district offices.
Training Overview
During the session, Munshi Jahangir Zinnat (Hirok) — a successful freelancer and the founder of Unique Soft — conducted an insightful presentation on basic freelancing techniques, online marketplace strategies, and career-building through digital work.
Government officers from across Khulna Division participated actively in the training, showing strong interest in learning about digital opportunities.
Under this initiative, the Divisional Commissioner arranged a total of six seminars on freelancing:

Three seminars held at the Divisional Commissioner’s Office,

One seminar at BL College,

One seminar at Khulna Government Girls College, and
-
One seminar at Khulna Public College.
Each session focused on introducing digital skills, freelancing marketplaces, and income opportunities for government officials and employees.
Background of Collaboration
The collaboration between Khulna Divisional Commissioner Mohammad Abdus Samad and Unique Soft began in February 2015, during an administrative visit by the Commissioner to Meherpur. As part of that tour, Mr. Abdus Samad paid an unofficial visit to the Unique Soft Office at Amjhupi Bazar, where he met with Munshi Jahangir Zinnat (Hirok) and discussed potential initiatives to promote freelancing training within the Khulna Division.
