National Television (RTV) Published News of Unique Soft

RTV, one of Bangladesh’s leading national satellite television channels, broadcasted a special feature on Unique Soft highlighting the organization’s contribution to youth empowerment and employment through freelancing.

The news aired on September 13, 2013, during the 4:45 PM bulletin (exact time 4:53 PM), with a total duration of 1 minute and 53 seconds. The report was produced by Majedul Haque Manik, Correspondent of RTV, and featured exclusive interviews with Munshi Jahangir Zinnat (Founder & CEO), Ashraful Alam (General Manager), and Philip Mollik (Director of Training) of Unique Soft.

    Highlights of the Broadcast

RTV reported that freelancing has become increasingly popular in the border district of Meherpur, thanks to the efforts of Unique Soft. Many previously unemployed individuals have found new livelihoods through freelancing, earning sustainable incomes and supporting their families.

The channel emphasized that Munshi Jahangir Zinnat, the Founder & CEO of Unique Soft, first entered the freelancing profession himself before establishing the organization to help others achieve similar success.

Key excerpts from the RTV interview:

Manik (RTV Correspondent): Why did you choose freelancing instead of other jobs?
Munshi Jahangir Zinnat (Founder & CEO):

“I was working in a telecommunication company when I discovered freelancing through blogs. After realizing its potential, I left my corporate job to become a full-time freelancer. It offers more freedom and higher income opportunities. That’s why I returned to my village and started working independently from home.”

Manik: Why did you start providing free training?
    Munshi:

“Freelancing doesn’t require formal educational qualifications. With just a bit of training and proper guidance, anyone can succeed. By showing them how to work in online marketplaces, 33 people have already found freelance jobs through our support.”

Manik (to Ashraful Alam, General Manager): What potential have you found in freelancing?
    Ashraful:

“I’ve been freelancing for the past year and earn a good amount every month through international marketplaces.”

Manik (to Philip Mollik, Director of Training): Why did you choose freelancing?
    Philip:

“I began freelancing in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) as a part-time profession and have already earned from it. It has given me a sense of financial freedom alongside my private job.”

    Recognition and Message

RTV concluded its segment by praising Unique Soft’s mission and its success in transforming lives through freelancing. The report stated that with support or funding from the Bangladesh Government, the organization could expand its reach and help even more people become self-reliant.

The segment ended with a hopeful message:

“The sun of Unique Soft will never set in this country.”
