Khulna Divisional Commissioner’s Visit to Unique Soft

It was a proud and memorable occasion for Unique Soft when the Khulna Divisional Commissioner paid an unofficial visit to the organization on February 16, 2015.

The visit was led by Divisional Commissioner Mohammad Abdus Samad and accompanied by several distinguished officials, including Deputy Commissioner Mahmud Hossain, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mazedur Rahman, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Tax) Hemayet Hossain, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Shahinuzzaman, Union Chairman Saiful Islam, and many other senior government representatives. Their presence made the event truly special and inspiring for the entire Unique Soft team.

Presentation on Freelancing and Digital Employment

During the visit, Munshi Jahangir Zinnat (Hirok), Founder & CEO of Unique Soft, delivered an informative presentation highlighting the potential of freelancing as a means of generating employment and foreign income.

His presentation covered key topics, including:

    • The concept and workflow of freelancing

    • Opportunities to create self-employment through online platforms

    • Potential earnings and career development in freelancing

    • The current challenges faced by Bangladeshi freelancers, especially in Meherpur district

Mr. Zinnat emphasized how freelancing can be a transformative career path for the country’s youth and explained the barriers that hinder faster growth — such as payment gateway issues, internet infrastructure, and lack of awareness.

    Assurance and Future Collaboration

The Divisional Commissioner highly appreciated the initiatives of Unique Soft in promoting freelancing and developing skilled human resources at the grassroots level. He assured that the administration would take necessary steps to help resolve the existing challenges and promote the freelancing profession more effectively across the Khulna division.

He also invited Munshi Jahangir Zinnat to visit the Divisional Commissioner’s Office in Khulna to conduct training programs and awareness seminars on freelancing.

    Follow-Up Initiatives

As a continuation of this commitment, Mr. Zinnat later visited Khulna and conducted six seminars and training sessions at different institutions under the Divisional Commissioner’s supervision. These programs inspired many government officials, teachers, and students to learn about freelancing and digital entrepreneurship — marking an important milestone in spreading the freelancing movement beyond Meherpur.
